Make It Work: Color Blocking

We’ve seen sumptuous sorbets and radiant rainbows strutting down the runway at all the shows. It’s no doubt that color is back with a vengeance for Spring. Marc Jacobs, Versace, Jonthan Saunders (pictured right), and Gucci are all about color blocking this season. Of course these flowing dresses look gorgeous cascading down the runway, but only a peacock could pull this off on a daily basis. So how do you translate this idea into a daily wardrobe reality? My solution?

Accessorize! Try on a bright scarf, punchy pumps or a cute clutch in an unexpected color. Stash the LBD for now, and enter the new year with a splash!
