From the Fall runways to the streets of Hollywood, the black & white trend is everywhere. With a less than stellar economy, designers and stars alike are proving that the classics are always a good investment! I love how Dolce & Gabbana made black & white more interesting by using it in an animal print. The Yves Saint Laurent and Chanel looks are stunningly chic!

Fall Flashback

Hair bands, acid wash jeans, metallic leggings, shoulder pads and tons of bedazzlement!! Did the Fall runways revert back to that hideous decade we all tried to forget? I dare say that it has. The worst thing about it is that I can’t help but fall for it all over again! Seriously, I thought shoulder pads were best left on the football field, but somehow Marc Jacobs has me feeling lost without them! Now I’m imagining all of the super cute outfits I can put together: tie-dye jeans, white tee, biker jacket/ metallic leggings, open-toed ankle boots, fitted blazer/ sparkly mini-dress and thigh high boots. I am fully confident that my older, wiser and chic-er self will be able to pull the 80′s look off flawlessly.

i love fall fashion…something about the sumptuous fabrics, the layering, the boots, the furs….so mysterious…so sexy! and not like that “summer slut sexy” but that “i could be a seductive secret agent but you’ll never know” type of sexy.
