The world has been going all Atkins/Ron Jeremy/Oktoberfest (or whatever you wanna call a ton of meat) since Lady Gaga showed up at the VMAs wearing that infamous Franc Fernandez designed meat dress.  Jeremy Scott went as far as sending prosciutto dresses down his Spring 2011 runway.  I’m sure you’ve been sitting at home playing in some deli-sliced ham trying to figure out how to make it work, haven’t you?  Well, ladies and gents, fret no more!  The Onch Movement has created this lovely meat-less “meat-lace” to feed your fashion hunger!  For only $55, you too can get in on the meat movement!

Tyra’s Fishnet Mask: Freak or Chic?

Tyra Banks makes her own mask for the French Vogue 90th Anniversary Party out of fishnet stockings.  Freakish or chic-ish?  I’ve read some cutting remarks about the decision, but I think she pulled it off well!  I’m sure if a designer did it, everyone would swoon and think it was très chic.  Stop hating on the Banks!

STFU: Jimmy Choo’s ‘Light Up’ Sandals

From little girls playing hop scotch in a pair of L.A. Gear’s light up sneakers to grown women playing the field in some seriously sexy Jimmy Choo ‘light up’ Zap Sandals ($2495).  I am absolutely in LOVE with these!  The downside is that the battery is designed to last for approximately 100 hours of constant, continuous use according to the website, but it cannot be replaced.  I guess they still look hot without the light up effect.  Rev Run’s daughter, Angela Simmons, is pictured above strutting in a pair. HAWT!!

If you haven’t already heard, LiLo was sentenced to jail time due to violating her probation by failing to attend her alcohol ed classes.  Save the crocodile tears, honey.  While Lindsay was flashing her whimsical nail art in court, she was also flashing a sly “FUCK U” to the judge? reporters? paparazzi?!  Who knows.  But I must admit, I love that sense of humor, Lohan!

Way too much pretty to choose from at this year’s Costume Institute Gala Benefit at The Metropolitan Museum of Art 2010!  This year’s theme:  Models as Muse.  In a world where relationships and roles are as vague as one’s sexual orientation, celebrities continue to take the place of models in magazines, ads and even on the runway.  Some of the trends we spotted: lots of blue, black, white and silver in both sleek and structured gowns.  This year’s accessory du jour?  Designer arm candy à la Zac Posen, John Galliano, Gilles Mendel and the like.  Madame Wintour made it very clear that MODELS are never out of style.

Met Ball: Well Suited
