Carrie Bradshaw, Recessionista? I think not. The Sex and the City 2 Movie is set to release May 27th. After much hub bub on whether or not the fashion -that the franchise is famous for- would remain the same, stylist Patricia Field stated, ”I wouldn’t do it. Of course the four girls are going to be fabulous and flamboyant – otherwise what is the point? I want to do it the other way. I’d be like: ‘Forget your troubles.’ I don’t use the recession as a reference for my creativity.” I feel the same way: we’re much too gorgeous to worry about ugly things like the recession.
