After the high from my last hit started wearing off, my body ached for more. It’s like I can’t stop. The addiction keeps me up all night. When I finally manage to fall asleep, I wake up in a cold sweat just thinking about it. I’m completely obsessed. No…it’s gone way past that. I walk into a room filled with my closest friends and family…and a cameraman. F*ck, I knew this would happen…it’s an INTERVENTION. I guess it’s official: I’m addicted.
I love everything about the award winning AMC series Mad Men, which is based on the life of ad man, Don Draper, and the advertising agency he works for on Madison Avenue during the 1960′s. What is there not to love? I heart it all: the style, the storyline, the characters…but most of all, I am completely enamored with the clothes! Gorgeous dresses, gloves, up-dos, and cigarettes! Okay, so maybe the cigarettes are really bad for you and make you smell and turn your teeth yellow…but you have to admit, they make it look so cool!!! I suppose I shouldn’t take up smoking…but maybe I can find some designer cigs to carry around as an accessory. Jewel encrusted couture cancer sticks?! I would sooo buy them!
